The CO2 laser source used is produced by Rofin, and it's based on a diffusion-cooled generator (SLAB).

In the machine equipped with a SLAB source, the optical path has just two mirrors and is pressurized with air that is filtered and dehumidified by a high-quality drier supplied with the system.
