Over 30 years of business, marked by constant growth based on advanced technologies, professional motivation of the staff and solid customer and supplier relations. This is the case of the South Tyrol-based company Isifer, which chose Salvagnini technology to continue its growth.
A strategy based on innovation and proximity
Highlights
- Isifer
Isifer is a South Tyrol-based sheet metal working company founded in 1993 in Longiarù. Now located in larger, modern facilities in Piccolino, it designs, manufactures and assembles robust metal structures in-house for architecture firms, industry, tourism, luxury hotels, shop fittings and prestige façades worldwide. - The challenge
As growth accelerated, Isifer needed to renew its machine inventory and overcome bottlenecks caused by separate management of design, cutting and bending. The company required a long-term technology partner, faster response to urgent orders, improved machining speed and precision, and lower operating costs for customized, high-mix production. - The solution
Isifer adopted an integrated Salvagnini ecosystem connecting its ERP system and 3D CAD software with OPS, the modular process software coordinating information between technical office and production. The project includes a fiber laser L3.G4 with 6 kW source, pallet changer, NVS, APC2, ACUT and APM2, plus a B3 170/3000 press brake with 7-axis backgauge. - The results
The fiber laser L3.G4 allows Isifer to cut 10–20 mm sheets in-house, work with compressed air on about half of total production, and reduce gas expenses significantly. “The impact on the hourly cost is tangible,” says Franz Tolpeit, Head of Design. B3 170/3000 has simplified bending and greatly improved process quality.
