When competence combines with technology
Story courtesy of E. Oldrati/Deformazione
Front doors, gates, doors, closures of every type, but always reliable, robust and innovative: this is Gazzini's product range, an evolved and responsible craft company in Trentino (Northern Italy) that also started a technological redesign process a few years ago, with the introduction of a Salvagnini press brake.
When competence combines with technology
Highlights
- Gazzini
Gazzini is a family-run company based in Mori, Trento, with over forty years of experience in closure systems and metalworking for residential and industrial environments. Its portfolio includes steel, glass and wood-clad doors, fences, parapets, manual and motorized gates, and steel and aluminium frames. - The challenge
Gazzini’s production is tailor made and highly customized, with defined product lines but finished products that are always different. The company needed to replace manual and legacy processes, support the shift from 2D drawings to 3D design, and ensure precision, repeatability, tolerances and high aesthetic standards. - The solution
Gazzini introduced Salvagnini B3 press brake, with 170 tons of force, 4250 mm bending length and a high-rigidity 7-axis backgauge. S-CROWNING adaptive crowning compensates bending deviations automatically, while FACE, STREAMFORMER and PRESSTUDIO support programming both from the technical office and directly at the numerical control. - The results
B3 press brake delivers constant bending angles on profiles up to 4 meters, reducing critical errors and eliminating scrap and corrections. Hemming, used for about 90% of Gazzini’s cladding profiles, strengthens parts, removes sharp edges and improves aesthetics, while energy-efficient operation and flexible programming support future product range expansion.
